APPAM WITH STEW
Appam and stew is the next cuisine of kerala. It is one of the best and popular food available in kerala. There are many types of appam but the main appam with stew is vallappam or pallappam. vallappam is also know as plain appam. The stew which is provided can be of vegetable or chicken. Chicken stew is awesome for eating plain appam or vellappam.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VELLAYAPPAM AND PALLAPPAM:
The difference between the two is the addition of shallots, cumin seeds in Vellayappam. Palappam has a lace border other than vellayappam which is having a round shape thick border. We make palappam in an Appachatti or Appam pan whereas Vellayappam we make on a flat thava or a pan. All types of appam are famous in kerala and all the keralites are attracted to it.
